Elizabeth Tarbell founded Vivapop of Greenwich. She gave herself two years to get it going and has looked back a lot. She is also looking forward. The future looks clear with scattered clouds - to be expected for any young company. Before launching Vivapop of Greenwich, Elizabeth spent nearly fifteen years doing leveraged and structured finance for several financial institutions reaching the level of executive vice president. Leaving finance for the more entrepreneurial world, Elizabeth worked with two privately owned companies: Carolina Knitting and Lippman Collection .Elizabeth holds a BA in Economics from Smith College and an MBA in Finance from New York University's Stern School of Business. Her brother, Charles, ran a good race for governor of New Hampshire, challenging the status quo in their home state, and her brother, Mark, a restauranteur with restaurants in Phoenix AZ ("Tarbell's") and Denver, CO ("The Oven") beat Iron Chef, Cat Cora, on Iron Chef America. Elizabeth currently resides in Greenwich, CT with her husband, and two daughters. Absolutely nothing, besides perhaps having children, prepared Elizabeth for starting her own company. She says she is lucky to have such a wonderful team of professionals working with her, with its healthy sense of commitment and humor, and to be able to serve the Greenwich community.
