      <title>Connecticut State Safe Boating Course and Pricing</title>

      <description>&lt;p&gt;Old Greenwich, CT&lt;br/&gt;203-698-0599&lt;br/&gt;Camp&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;br/&gt;Greenwich Community Sailing offers a safe boating course.  The State requires a minimum of eight hours of instruction to qualify 		for a CT certificate. This one-day course runs from 9 &amp;ndash; 5 p.m. and is 		classroom based.        &lt;p&gt;We cover such topics as rules of the road, navigation aids, weather,        required safety equipment you need to have on board, non-required safety        equipment you should have on board, introduction to charts and piloting,        anchoring, personal watercraft safety, and many more state specific rules        and regulations. &lt;/p&gt;        &lt;p&gt;We provide you with all the books and worksheets. Take the 60 question        test on site and upon passing, receive your diploma to send into the        State before you leave! &lt;/p&gt;        &lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Although this course teaches you required rules and safety        considerations, this course is only classroom based and will not teach        you how to operate your boat proficiently and safely! &lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Greenwich Community Sailing is Greenwich residents only and not open to non-residents. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Click on blog title or calendar link for location details and to see calendar of other events.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;</description>
