Nouveau Beaujolais Festival

The Wasatch Mountain Food and Wine Society present the 25th anniversary of the Nouveau Beaujolais Festival at Deer Valley in Silver Lake Lodge.

One seating will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. Tickets are $80 per person. This year, we will offer a Georges DuBoeuf Nouveau Beaujolais in both casks and bottles. The buffet will complement the fruity young flavor of the wines, featuring an abundance of classic Burgundy dishes such as escargot, rillettes, cassoulet, Bouchees with crayfish nantua and filet mignon, as well as an abundance of cured meats, imported cheeses, roasted vegetables and a lavish dessert selection.

August 24th, Corey Christiansen will perform at 4:30 p.m., David Sanborn at 5:30 p.m., The Park City All Star Band with Russell Gunn will begin at 7 p.m. and Tower of Power will begin playing at 8 p.m.

August 25th, Local will kick-off the day at 2:30 p.m. with Take 5 performing at 3:30 p.m. Soulbop will begin at 4:45 p.m. Eric Marienthal with the Crescent Super Band will perform at 6:30 p.m., and India.Arie will begin playing at 7:30 p.m.

August 26th, The day will begin with Fat Soul performing at 2 p.m., Craig Chaquico will begin at 2:45 p.m., Henry Butler will perform at 4:15 p.m. Medeski Scofield Martin & Wood will play at 5 p.m. to wrap up the three day event.

Headed to Utah? The Park City Performing Arts Foundation presents Joss Stone as part of the Big Stars, Bright Nights Concert Series. The concert will begin at 6 p.m. in the Snow Park Outdoor Amphitheater. Gates will open at 4:30 p.m. Tickets are $73 for reserved seating and $43 for general admission; $58 for reserved seating for seniors and $34 for general admission. Children (ages 3 to 16) are $36.50 for reserved seating and $21.50 for general admission. Tickets can be purchased at The Eccles Center located at 1750 Kearns Blvd. in Park City, or by calling 435-655-3114. General admission only tickets can be purchased at Deer Valley Main Street Signatures store, open daily at 625 Main Street. Please note there is a service charge for all concert tickets. Deer Valley's concession stand will be open during the concert. Deer Valley Gourmet Picnic Baskets are available for purchase. Frontier Bank and Mountain Town Stages presents Downright Blue in the Snow Park Outdoor Amphitheater. The concert is free and will begin at 6 p.m. Picnics and dancing are encouraged, but animals are not permitted. Bald Mountain Challenge Mountain Bike Race

Deer Valley will host the Bald Mountain Challenge Mountain Bike Race, for all abilities Saturday and Sunday, June 30 and July 1. Saturday is the Super-D race. This NORBA-sanctioned race is part of the Utah State Downhill Championship Series and will take place on the trails of Deer Valley's Bald Mountain, located mid-mountain at Silver Lake Village. Racer registration will be open for the Super-D from 10 to 11 a.m. and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. for the Downhill race on Saturday only. Awards will follow the event at the finish line. Deer Valley will be the fifth stop on the national series, one of seven chosen mountain biking venues. The worlds's best mountain bikers will ascend on Deer Valley to race down our expertly designed and maintained trails. This premier off-road racing series offers the highest-quality racing opportunities to amateur and professional riders of all ages. The event is expected to draw more than 1,500 amateur and professional riders for three days of exciting competition.
