Greenwich-based interior designer, radio show host, and Lifestyle Editor, Monica Webster is amongst 33 designers that successfully auditioned and secured a spot in a reality television showhouse in Blackrock, Connecticut. Her sanctuary is a serene, feminine bedroom with a beautiful semi-naked portrait (lent by Jane Seymour) “that completely sets the mood.” “The security and femininity of my room was inspired by a magnificently clever, naked photo lent to me by Jane Seymour (Dancing With the Stars).” I would like to invite you all to the public viewing of the Autumn at the Chimneys, which will take place from September 30-October 30. Interior Designer Monica Webster has her own Design Talk Show on WGCH 1490 am Greenwich “Monica’s Style” 9:30-10:00 am Thursday mornings. Monica Webster is an Allied Member of the American Society of Interior Designers and the Principal of Monica Webster Interiors based in Greenwich, Connecticut. She has a degree in Interior Design and has done extensive post graduate studies at the New York School for Interior Design. Her design work for the past 11 years has included commercial as well as residential projects. Although her philosophy is that no project is too small to inspire her, she has a long list of celebrity clients and been involved in several major projects including: the innovative and whimsical design for the 4.5 million renovation of the ARC House located on the Pomerance property in Greenwich and the multimillion dollar renovation of the Boys’ and Girls’ Club in 2004. Commercial projects include some of Fairfield’s finest physicians offices, and many of the trendiest restaurants. In addition to her professional career, Ms. Webster is strongly involved with many community organizations. She is active in the Greenwich chapters of the Junior League, The Chamber of Commerce, Daughter’s of the American Revolution and is a Special Education Representative for the Greenwich board of Education. She has currently accepted chairing both the Design Committee and the Designer Forum for the Historical Society’s fiftieth anniversary Antiquarius event.

Hudson River Arts Festival, September 15th

The Bardavon presents Poughkeepsie's 12th annual free fall festival with
non-stop music, Hudson River cruises, kids activities, delectable ethnic
foods, and a tent village of crafters, art exhibits, and more. Join dozens
of musical performances including the festival's main stage co-headliners:
legendary singer, songwriter and guitarist David Bromberg and his
Quartet**, plus the Angel Band and singer/songwriter Suzanne Vega and her
band who will perform new music as well as her hits, "Luka", Tom's Diner",
"99.9F" and more.

- Take a cruise on the Hudson River aboard the Sloop Clearwater and the
Esuary Steward Ferry Boat
- Visit the Mid-Hudson Children's Museum
- Paint from a live model with the Barrett Art Center
- Enjoy the Dutchess County Arts Council's Folk Arts demonstration tent
- Visit participating ARTHOP galleries

The main stage and second stage will also feature the 10th year of the
Dutchess County Arts Council's program, "One River: Many Streams" a
traditional folk arts festival and the 8th year of the Hudson Valley
Bluegrass Association's Bluegrass Between the Bridges Festival. Performers
