We'll make stops at Dave Seeler's gardens, Madoo, the enchanting garden roms of designer Robert Dash, as well as Barefoot Contessa Ina Garten's own own charming garden at her Easthampton hideaway! Lunch at Bayberry Gardens with shopping. Participants must be at the GEC 15 minutes before departure to prevent delays.

Carpet specialist and dynamic speaker Posy Benedict will speak on the horticultural aspects of carpets and textiles found in the works of Turkey, Persia, the Caucasus, India and Turkmenistan, melding two subjects many of us are passionate about: oriental rugs and flowers! Posy Benedict has served as consultant to clients that have included The White House, Sony Corp. and the new Islamic Arts Museum in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Besides international conferences on oriental carpets at schools such as New York University, museum audiences, horticultural societies and garden clubs, Posy has lectured extensively at the NY School of Interior Design and New School. She writes as a specialized rug journalist for several publications and is an appraiser to business and private clients.
